This wax is a blend of food grade mineral oil and beeswax. The addition of beeswax makes it repel water better than mineral oil alone. As you use your board you will

want to protect it from time to time by generously coating it with wax followed

by buffing.

This beautiful Black Walnut board with its distinct contrasting colours, swirling grain and engraved grape cluster will be a welcomed addition to any kitchen. If you use it as a cutting board we suggest cutting on the back and serving on the front. It has been finished with two coats of food safe mineral oil plus topped with a coat of mineral oil/beeswax. Live Edge Charcuterie Board

A unique Butternut board cut from a crotch where two limbs met gives this board its shape and also a distinct pattern in its grain structure. An oak leaf with acorns engraved on the one limb helps to set this board apart. If you use it as a cutting board we suggest cutting on the back and serving on the front. This over-sized Black Walnut serving board has a striking grain figure with curl and colour variation that really stands out. It rests on 4 feet to allow easier pick up for moving it. This hefty end grain cutting board made from Ipe and White Oak would be a prized addition to any kitchen. End grain cutting boards are known for their durability and self healing abilities. This board measures 12" x 14 1/4" x 2 1/8" thick. The bottom has a 3/4" indentation the whole way around and this combined with the slip resistant feet make it easy to pick up. These boards have been whiskered and burnished to help reduce wood grain swelling. They are finished with 2 coats of food grade mineral oil and a top coat of mineral oil and beeswax. Not dishwasher safe. Clean with a damp cloth and re-oil as necessary.

These unique one of a kind end grain cutting boards are made from three different types of Oak plus Black Walnut. The care and finish is the same as the above End Grain Cutting boards. You have a choice of two sizes.13 7/8"x 11 7/8 "x 2 5/8" thick or 14 5/8 "x13 7/8" x 2 5/8" thick. As an interesting fact the smaller board is made up of 114 different pieces of wood and the larger one has 111 pieces.
