Shaker style berry box with finger joints made from Sapele wood with a bent hickory wood swinging handle fastened with brass rivets. It is finished with food safe Danish oil. This box is made from 1/8" Sapele sides and 1/4" quarter sawn bottom. These light but strong boxes were commonly made by the Shaker craftsmen to gather berries, but the uses today are limited only by your imagination.
