The Morris chair was the forerunner of the modern recliner. Its back is manually adjustable allowing three different positions, giving a comfort that's just right for you. These chairs came in many different styles, bow arm, drop arm or standard, spindle,slat etc. The chair pictured is a bow arm spindle style complete with finish. They are also called Mission or Arts and Craft style furniture. We followed the original construction with pinned mortise and tenon joints throughout. Matching ottomans are also available. Oak was the primary wood used traditionally for these chairs but the choice is yours. All chairs and ottomans are sold unfinished and without cushions. Approximate size of ottomans are 19"W, 17 1/2"D, 12 1/2"H and 19"W, 16 1/2"D, 15"H. Contact us for pricing and availability.
